Xeres Prieto vs Chike Kwakye

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 08/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viewers Choice, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Prieto (15(3) - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Chike Kwakye(18(1) - 8(1) - 2) from Takoradi, Ghana.  Both Prieto and Kwakye weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Prewitt Gedeon, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Brendan Aitken and Stephen Morton.  

Round 1: 

Prieto lands a jab.

Kwakye manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Kwakye connects with a right hook.  Prieto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kwakye dabs at his face checking for damage.

Prieto knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Prieto lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND SENDS KWAKYE TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Prieto!
