Vicente Islas vs Angel Gaona

Boxing Daily Report from the Raisian Promotions promoted show at Ximen Fuentes Gym, Mexicali,  taking place on 24/06/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Islas (11 - 7 - 5) who hails from Ensenada, Mexico and Angel Gaona(12 - 14 - 2) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Islas weighed in at 130 pounds, while Gaona weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xaver Castanon, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Navarra, Carlos Leano and Baltasar Barrio.
