Prophyrios Tasso vs Vanni Rubino

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at MSG Theater, New York City,  taking place on 08/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Prophyrios Tasso (14(8) - 0) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Vanni Rubino(6 - 11 - 6) from Rochester, USA.  Tasso weighed in at 239 pounds and 6 ounces, while Rubino weighed in at 245 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leighton MacGinnis, and the three ringside judges are Mark Elley, Tito Berlato and Matthew Herritt.

Rubino advances into close range and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tasso dodges the shot and counters with a nasty left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RUBINO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Rubino manouvers Tasso onto the ropes.  Tasso senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Tasso lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS RUBINO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.

He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, DROPPING RUBINO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Tasso is looking to keep his distance.  Tasso feints a cross, but Rubino does not fall for it and lands with a cross.
