Kyle Lockhart vs Brendan Cruickshank

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Mahauariki, Waitakere,  taking place on 25/06/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyle Lockhart (10 - 3 - 2) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Brendan Cruickshank(13 - 4) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Lockhart and Cruickshank weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Kellie, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Beynon, Louis Paipa and Jack Hislop.  

Round 1: 

Lockhart sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cruickshank connects with a cross.
