Elderson Mbanefo vs Vidal Barranco

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane,  taking place on 05/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Mbanefo (26(12) - 4(1)) who hails from Buguma, Nigeria and Vidal Barranco(24(3) - 1(1) - 1 - 1(NC)) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Both Mbanefo and Barranco weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Pait, and the three ringside judges are Scott Martin, Seth Urbano and Ian Corrie.
