Chris Toshack vs Paul McKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Manchester Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 01/07/2028:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Toshack (26(17) - 2(1)) who hails from Manchester, UK and Paul McKenzie(23(1) - 6(3)) from Bolton, UK.  Both Toshack and McKenzie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Litts, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Saunders, Matthew McReynolds and Robert Goff.  

Round 1: 

McKenzie tries to land a left hook, but Toshack sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook to McKenzie's ribcage.  
McKenzie lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Toshack is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McKenzie attempts to land an overhand right, but Toshack slips the shot and counters with a left hook to McKenzie's body.  
Toshack digs in a right hook to McKenzie's body.  
Toshack tries to step out of his opponents range.  McKenzie lands a cross.  
Toshack lands a MASSIVE overhand left.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCKENZIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McKenzie recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McKenzie advances into close range.  Toshack connects with a left uppercut.  
Toshack steps to the outside.  McKenzie attempts to land an overhand left, but Toshack slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McKenzie attempts to land a cross, but Toshack sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to McKenzie's body.  
Toshack lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  That combination has caused a slight swelling around the right eye.  
McKenzie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Toshack hits home with a sharp jab.  
Toshack tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McKenzie advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
McKenzie steps inside.  As Toshack tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McKenzie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McKenzie manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  McKenzie is on target with a right hook to Toshack's body.  
Toshack hits home with a hard jab.  
Toshack is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Toshack sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
McKenzie steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Toshack switches the action to the outside.  McKenzie is on target with a cross.  
McKenzie advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Toshack pivots from in front of his opponent.  Toshack is on target with a solid right hook to McKenzie's ribs.  Toshack throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Toshack steps to the outside.  McKenzie tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
McKenzie gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Toshack drives a sharp right hook into McKenzie's body.  
Toshack switches the action to the outside.  McKenzie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Toshack throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Toshack tries to land an overhand left, but McKenzie slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Toshack finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McKenzie's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

McKenzie hits home with a left hook.  
McKenzie closes the distance.  McKenzie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McKenzie lands a stinging left hook.  McKenzie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Toshack switches the action to the outside.  Toshack feints a cross, and then lands with a ramrod jab.  Toshack throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McKenzie steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McKenzie forces Toshack to back into the ropes.  McKenzie tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
McKenzie lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Toshack lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Toshack is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Toshack senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop McKenzie and just needs the right shot.  Toshack lands a left hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Toshack lands a nasty left hook.  MCKENZIE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  McKenzie now seems to have his senses back.  
McKenzie gets on the inside.  Toshack pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  MCKENZIE IS DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Toshack!
