Santiago Delangel vs Desiderio Mieras

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Izquierdo, Quito,  taking place on 29/06/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Pichincha Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Delangel (10 - 1 - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Desiderio Mieras(7 - 7 - 6) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Delangel and Mieras weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Mazariegos, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Guitron, Rogelio Remigio and Eloy Quesada.
