Douglas Baird vs Neve Clays

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 28/06/2028:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (10 - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Neve Clays(7 - 12 - 4) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Baird and Clays weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas MacGregor, and the three ringside judges are William McCorkel, Robert Ewings and Isaac MacIver.  

Round 1: 

Baird is looking to close the distance.  Baird pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.
