Kai Maddex vs Briar Batiste

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 28/06/2028:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are The Throne-Breaker Kai Maddex (12 - 0) who hails from Leicester, UK and Briar Batiste(3 - 15(1) - 4) from Saint-Denis, France.  Both Maddex and Batiste weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William McCorkel, and the three ringside judges are Robert Ewings, Thomas MacGregor and Isaac MacIver.
