Alano Araw vs Joaquin Maese

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Acharon Sports Centre, General Santos,  taking place on 24/07/2028:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alano Araw (18(7) - 0) who hails from Manila, Philippines and Joaquin Maese(11 - 9(1) - 1) from Calamba, Philippines.  Araw weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces, while Maese weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Ouano, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Okala, Alejandro Paulino and Cipriano Ouano.  

Round 1: 

Araw hits home with a left hook.  
Araw lands a right uppercut.  Araw clinches his opponent.  Araw is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Araw forces Maese to retreat into a corner.  Araw lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Maese quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Maese connects with a right hook.  Maese throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Araw lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Araw ties up his opponent.  Araw is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Araw pushes his forearm into Maese's face.  The ref breaks Araw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maese throws a left uppercut, but Araw ties up his opponent.  Araw is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Araw about fouling.  
Araw is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Araw advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Araw quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Araw closes the distance and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.

Maese throws a right hook, but Araw clinches his opponent.  Araw leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Araw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Araw advances into close range and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Maese's body.  
Araw drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Araw clinches his opponent.  Araw is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Maese is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Maese tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Araw dabs at his face checking for damage.

Maese is desperate to make more of an impact on his opponent.   He steps in close and headbutts his opponent!  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Maese to watch his head.  He gives Araw a few minutes to recover.
