Rodrigo Escarcega vs Angel Lares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Villaflor, Mexico City,  taking place on 05/07/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Escarcega (5 - 9 - 3) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Angel Lares(7 - 5 - 1) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Escarcega weighed in at 104 pounds and 15 ounces, while Lares weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Floro, and the three ringside judges are Quito Tostado, Santiago Yanes and Jose Santander.
