Connor Tamu vs Okal Zakayo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Quadrees Magwanga Gym, Kikuyu,  taking place on 05/07/2028:

Clearly AI Kenya-Kiambu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Tamu (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Okal Zakayo(5 - 10 - 3) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Tamu and Zakayo weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Ngugi, and the three ringside judges are Adam Aggett, Mark Kamande and Amon Itote.  

Round 1: 

Zakayo steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zakayo sidesteps to the right of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tamu dabs at his face checking for damage.
