Ben Inzikuru vs Gareth Skillen

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Del Mar Fairgrounds, San Diego,  taking place on 17/07/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Inzikuru (18(13) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Gareth Skillen(8 - 15 - 4) from Phoenix, USA.  Inzikuru weighed in at 244 pounds and 4 ounces, while Skillen weighed in at 245 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Madoc, and the three ringside judges are Sam Hasson, Darryl Bruce and Lee Bartolome.  

Round 1: 

Inzikuru advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Skillen's body.  
Inzikuru lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Inzikuru lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Inzikuru throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Inzikuru about fouling.  
Skillen gets on the inside.  Inzikuru quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Skillen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Inzikuru time to recover.  
Inzikuru lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Inzikuru is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Inzikuru.  
Inzikuru digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Inzikuru is on target with a firm right hook to Skillen's ribs.  Inzikuru holds on to his opponent.  Skillen uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Inzikuru's kidney. The referee warns Skillen and breaks the clinch.
