Nick Mulherin vs Ian Cotts

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at Montgomery Clugston, Montgomery,  taking place on 05/07/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Mulherin (7 - 8 - 4) who hails from Mobile, USA and Ian Cotts(19(12) - 0) from Louisville, USA.  Both Mulherin and Cotts weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Prentis, and the three ringside judges are Owen Leckie, Mark Hush and Seth Livingston.  

Round 1: 

Cotts closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Mulherin steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Cotts blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
