Alastair Moncrief vs Colin Proffit

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Sydney Pettigrew, Sydney,  taking place on 11/07/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair Moncrief (9 - 8 - 4) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Colin Proffit(6 - 4 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Moncrief and Proffit weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Lipton, and the three ringside judges are Richard Bean, Neil Malis and Chris Lobban.  

Round 1: 

Moncrief is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Proffit steps inside and walks Moncrief into a neutral corner.  Proffit lands a right uppercut.

Proffit closes the distance.  Moncrief backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Proffit accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Moncrief.  
Moncrief steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Proffit connects with a left uppercut.  
Proffit is looking to close the distance.  Proffit lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Proffit has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Moncrief switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Proffit parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
