Gareth Barr vs John Hanlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Gerald Boileau Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 15/06/2028:

Clearly AI Canada-Quebec have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Barr (16 - 9 - 4) who hails from Montreal, Canada and John Hanlin(5 - 10(2) - 4) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Barr and Hanlin weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Aitken, Gerard Segalen and Launcelot Rozenthal.

Barr tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Hanlin pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.

Barr attempts to land a jab, but Hanlin sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Barr tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.

Hanlin steps inside.  Barr is on target with a right hook.  Barr wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hanlin has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Barr lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barr is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hanlin forces Barr to retreat onto the ropes.  Hanlin tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Hanlin is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Barr wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hanlin dabs at his face checking for damage.
