George Powles vs Dai Blaikie

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkolola Promotions promoted show at Perth Caldwell, Perth,  taking place on 01/07/2028:

Clearly Nkolola Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are George Powles (2 - 0 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Dai Blaikie(1 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Powles and Blaikie weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave McPherson, and the three ringside judges are Oscar MacKechnie, Noel Berwick and Euan Gregor.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blaikie dabs at his face checking for damage.

Blaikie gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Powles throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Powles ties up his opponent.  Powles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
