Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane,  taking place on 02/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Brice (6(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Townsville, Australia and David Mills(7 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Brice weighed in at 115 pounds, while Mills weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Billy Pryce, and the three ringside judges are Ian McAfee, Mark Lockie and Rich James.
