Danylko Sukut vs Mykhaylo Kozel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belarus-West promoted show at Volodymyr Kozel Gym, Grodno,  taking place on 15/07/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus-West Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danylko Sukut (10 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Brest, Belarus and Mykhaylo Kozel(3 - 5 - 5) from Brest, Belarus.  Both Sukut and Kozel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aleksandr Topolski, and the three ringside judges are Mikhail Ignashevich, Kolzak Kireev and Gennady Wujek.  

Round 1: 

Sukut forces Kozel to back into the red corner.  Kozel digs in a left hook to Sukut's liver.  
Sukut is on target with a left hook.  
Sukut connects with a left hook.  
Kozel digs in a left uppercut to Sukut's body.  
Kozel pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Kozel attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sukut to the neutral corner.  He lectures Kozel but does not take away a point.

Kozel feints a right hook, and then lands a cross.  
Sukut advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Kozel lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sukut closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Kozel blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kozel dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kozel has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Kozel is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kozel drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Sukut lands a cross.
