Drud Kurr vs Barnie Henige

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 07/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are The German Giant Drud Kurr (31(25) - 0) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Barnie Henige(9 - 13 - 2) from Berlin, Germany.  Kurr weighed in at 248 pounds and 4 ounces, while Henige weighed in at 242 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rey Gersch, and the three ringside judges are Dietz Pilling, Wareine Schaefers and Adelbert Peikert.  

Round 1: 

Kurr lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kurr lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kurr lands with a hard jab.  
Kurr lands a firm overhand left.  
Kurr lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Henige tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a telling cross.  HENIGE IS HURT!  Henige recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kurr is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Kurr pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Kurr drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Kurr is on target with a cross.  
Kurr steps away from his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Kurr feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND DROPS HENIGE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Henige recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kurr tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Kurr lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kurr lands with a ramrod jab.  
Kurr feints a cross, and then is on target with an overhand right.  
Kurr lands a sharp overhand right.  
Kurr lands a jab.  
Kurr lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kurr steps away from his opponent and lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Henige recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kurr lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Henige's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Henige's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Henige's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Henige tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a WICKED left hook.  HENIGE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Henige is on target with a cross.  
Henige steps away from his opponent.  Kurr connects with a stinging cross.  
Kurr lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Henige is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kurr lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Henige quickly recovers. 
Kurr lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HENIGE IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Henige cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kurr!
