Rob Rainey vs Vail Bourdelle

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Football), Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Razer Rob Rainey (20(14) - 0) who hails from El Paso, USA and Vail Bourdelle(19 - 8(7)) from Petionville, Haiti.  Rainey weighed in at 230 pounds and 3 ounces, while Bourdelle weighed in at 256 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Suttie, and the three ringside judges are Billy Fergusson, Hayden Abraham and Sam Salvas.  

Round 1: 

Bourdelle advances into close range.  Rainey hits home with a right hook.  
Rainey tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS BOURDELLE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Bourdelle recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rainey tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Bourdelle quickly recovers. 
Rainey finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Bourdelle closes the distance.  Rainey lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rainey is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bourdelle is on target with an overhand right.  
Bourdelle steps inside and digs in a left hook to Rainey's ribs.  
Rainey tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Bourdelle is looking to close the distance.  Rainey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rainey throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Rainey's ribcage.  
Rainey steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  
Rainey lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Bourdelle advances into close range.  Rainey is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Bourdelle manages to force Rainey onto the ropes.  Bourdelle lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bourdelle throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Rainey lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rainey tries to land a jab, but Bourdelle slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rainey stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Rainey lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, DROPPING BOURDELLE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Bourdelle now seems to have got his legs back.  
Rainey finds the target with a jab.  
Rainey switches the action to the outside.  Bourdelle attempts to land an overhand right, but Rainey sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Rainey lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rainey switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Bourdelle advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Bourdelle hits home with a left hook.  
Bourdelle walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bourdelle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bourdelle is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rainey is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Bourdelle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rainey is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a stiff jab.  
Rainey lands a powerful cross.  BOURDELLE IS HURT!  Rainey attempts to land a jab, but Bourdelle sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  Bourdelle almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rainey's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bourdelle's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bourdelle's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Bourdelle steps inside.  Rainey DETONATES a FEARSOME left hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BOURDELLE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rainey throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  Bourdelle recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rainey tries to keep the action at long range.  Bourdelle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bourdelle attempts to land a cross, but Rainey slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME right hook.  BOURDELLE IS HURT!  
Bourdelle steps inside and lands a right hook.  Bourdelle now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Rainey tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a SAVAGE cross.  BOURDELLE IS HURT!  
The right shot from Rainey could be enough to force the stoppage!  Rainey lands a hurtful cross.  BOURDELLE IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Rainey!
