Jemond Maffo vs Royal Mpessa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Nord promoted show at Garoua Menyoli, Garoua,  taking place on 16/07/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jemond Maffo (18 - 4) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Royal Mpessa(11 - 1) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Maffo weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mpessa weighed in at 126 pounds.
