Haaris Mahdavi vs Danyaal Batrawi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekizian Promotions promoted show at Kamran Faraj Gym, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/07/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Mahdavi (20 - 9(1) - 5) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Danyaal Batrawi(12 - 5 - 2) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Mahdavi and Batrawi weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Arafat, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Saah, Yasin Eldegheidy and Jawad Henedi.  

Round 1: 

Mahdavi switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mahdavi is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Batrawi connects with a left uppercut.  
Batrawi gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Mahdavi's ribs.
