Jordan Asuncion vs Lewis Strother

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 30/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Asuncion (22(8) - 0) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Lewis Strother(13 - 4(3) - 2) from Modesto, USA.  Both Asuncion and Strother weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Valdivia, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banos, Cris Garcia and Noel Spencer.  

Round 1: 

Asuncion is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
