Manu Poku vs Joshua Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Konadu, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manu Poku (8 - 6(2) - 6) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Joshua Mensah(14 - 0) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Mensah weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Salawu, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Siddiqi, Chata Ankrah and Paul Kwakye.  

Round 1: 

Mensah steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Mensah clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mensah pushes his forearm into Poku's face.  The ref breaks Mensah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
