Fadei Ponomarenko vs Fedya Alimov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Kemerovo Oblast promoted show at Evgeny Glushakov Gym, Prokopyevsk,  taking place on 24/06/2028:

Clearly AI Russia-Kemerovo Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Kemerovo Oblast Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fadei Ponomarenko (2 - 5) who hails from Kemerovo, Russia and Fedya Alimov(7 - 7 - 4) from Kemerovo, Russia.  Both Ponomarenko and Alimov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gennady Shatov, and the three ringside judges are Fedya Litvinov, Vikenti Sautin and Fadei Klevsov.  

Round 1: 

Ponomarenko advances into close range.  As Ponomarenko tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alimov dabs at his face checking for damage.
