Sam Kenrick vs Fraser Hardy

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Kingston Woodhouse, Kingston,  taking place on 09/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Kenrick (10 - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Fraser Hardy(7 - 7(2)) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Kenrick and Hardy weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Edward Bivens, Sid Eddie and Gareth Stater.  

Round 1: 

Kenrick is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Kenrick ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kenrick pushes his forearm into Hardy's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Hardy.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
