Carlos Monsalve vs Xeres Cuenca

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Rita, Acapulco,  taking place on 25/06/2028:

Clearly AI Mexico-Guerrero have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Monsalve (17 - 5(1) - 5) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Xeres Cuenca(7 - 3 - 6) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Monsalve and Cuenca weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Bedoya, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Armijo, Jerrold Santibanez and Xeres Hermosillo.  

Round 1: 

Cuenca lands a cross.  Cuenca tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
