Orlando Toro vs Wayne Harwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 05/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viewers Choice, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Orlando Toro (5(1) - 0) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Wayne Harwood(7 - 11(1) - 4) from Markham, Canada.  Both Toro and Harwood weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olier Paradis, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Louis Gillespie and Destin Dauphin.  

Round 1: 

Harwood tries to keep the action at long range.  Toro lands a hard jab.  
Toro is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Toro holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Toro pushes his forearm into Harwood's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Toro.  
Toro hits home with a solid right hook.

Toro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Toro lands a right hook.  
Toro connects with a firm left hook.  Toro clinches his opponent.  Toro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Toro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Toro drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Harwood throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Toro closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Toro holds on to his opponent.  Toro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Toro steps inside and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Toro hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Toro manouvers Harwood onto the ropes.  Toro lands a left hook.  
Toro pivots to the left of his opponent.  Toro throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Toro holds on to his opponent.  Toro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Toro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Harwood steps to the outside.  Toro lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Toro drives a left hook into Harwood's body.  
Toro steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Toro dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Toro digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Harwood's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Harwood's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
