Dakarai Gichere vs Kendis Kithuka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Chesoni, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dakarai Gichere (16 - 6(4)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kendis Kithuka(18(8) - 6(6)) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Gichere weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kithuka weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Dalrymple, and the three ringside judges are Dembe Mutunga, Fraser Magwanga and Lewis Muriuki.
