Kris Gaul vs Paul Fedder

Boxing Daily Report from the Fuseini Promotions promoted show at Dorchester Armory, Boston,  taking place on 08/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Mid West Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Gaul (17(5) - 2) who hails from Wichita, USA and Paul Fedder(8 - 5(3) - 1) from Kansas City, USA.  Both Gaul and Fedder weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Fenty, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Stephen, Chris Foley and Hugh Days.  

Round 1: 

Gaul gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaul lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS FEDDER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Gaul digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaul gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fedder leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Gaul accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Fedder.  Gaul is on target with a cross.  
Gaul closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Gaul steps inside and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Fedder almost instantly recovers. 
Gaul lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gaul drives a right hook into Fedder's body.  
Fedder steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Gaul is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gaul steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaul attempts to land a left uppercut, but Fedder blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fedder tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Gaul sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Gaul is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fedder tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Gaul advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gaul quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fedder's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
