Geerten Santon vs Baptist Meeus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-South Holland promoted show at Rotterdam Aelbrecht, Rotterdam,  taking place on 27/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Geerten Santon (21(3) - 6) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Baptist Meeus(15 - 4 - 1) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both Santon and Meeus weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tulken Schelfaut, and the three ringside judges are Godveerd Lambrechts, Petrus Ermarin and Ruud Mercator.  

Round 1: 

Santon advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.

Santon crashes a big right hook to Meeus's ribcage.  MEEUS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Santon digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Santon finds the target with a jab.  
Santon closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Meeus could be stopped here, if Santon can find the right shot!  Santon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND MEEUS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Meeus has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Santon crashes a mean left hook to Meeus's body.  DOWN GOES MEEUS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Santon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Santon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Santon throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Santon lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Santon lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING MEEUS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Meeus cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Santon!
