Nick Ralston vs James Manawaroa

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Ngahoro, Waitakere,  taking place on 27/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand-Wellington Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Ralston (5 - 11 - 5) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and James Manawaroa(11 - 4) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Ralston and Manawaroa weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Kaneri, and the three ringside judges are John Cloy, Mark Urquhart and Bart Purser.  

Round 1: 

Manawaroa digs in a right hook to Ralston's body.  Manawaroa clinches his opponent.  Manawaroa uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ralston's kidney. Manawaroa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Manawaroa lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Manawaroa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Manawaroa hits home with a right uppercut.  
Manawaroa connects with a left hook.  
Manawaroa pivots to the side of his opponent.  Manawaroa lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Manawaroa clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Manawaroa pushes his forearm into Ralston's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Manawaroa to stop fouling.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ralston dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ralston throws a left hook, but Manawaroa ties up his opponent.  Manawaroa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Manawaroa throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Manawaroa and breaks the clinch.  
Manawaroa is on target with a right uppercut.  
Manawaroa lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Manawaroa lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
