Yoshi Ikeda vs Jiro Nakamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari, Chiba,  taking place on 14/07/2028:

Clearly AI Japan-Chiba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yoshi Ikeda (7 - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Jiro Nakamoto(1 - 7 - 1) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Ikeda and Nakamoto weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Nakanishi, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Yanagi, Takeo Nakanishi and Michi Sakamoto.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda is looking to close the distance.  Ikeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ikeda connects with a solid left hook.  Ikeda ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ikeda pushes his forearm into Nakamoto's face.  The referee warns Ikeda and breaks the clinch.  
Ikeda walks his opponent into the red corner.  Ikeda stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Nakamoto throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Nakamoto throws a left hook, but Ikeda ties up his opponent.  Nakamoto pushes his forearm into Ikeda's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nakamoto about fouling.
