Afanas Damdin vs Odil Novy

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Northeast Forestry University Gymnasium, Harbin,  taking place on 05/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Afanas Damdin (9(2) - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Odil Novy(5 - 13(3) - 3) from Marseille, France.  Damdin weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces, while Novy weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chen Cheen, and the three ringside judges are Liang May, Chen Thai and Liko Gong.  

Round 1: 

Damdin lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Damdin steps to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Damdin feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.

Novy advances into close range.  Damdin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Damdin tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Damdin finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Damdin tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Damdin throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  Novy quickly recovers. 
Damdin lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Novy is looking to close the distance and walks Damdin into a corner.  Damdin connects with a WICKED right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE NOVY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Novy quickly recovers. 
Damdin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Damdin clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Damdin pushes his forearm into Novy's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Damdin.

Damdin feints a right hook, and then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Novy steps inside and manouvers Damdin onto the ropes.  Novy throws a left hook, but Damdin holds on to his opponent.  Damdin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Novy gets on the inside.  Damdin lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Damdin lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Damdin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Damdin digs in a stinging right hook to Novy's body.  
Novy steps inside.  Damdin drives a sharp left hook into Novy's ribs.  
Damdin digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Damdin ties up his opponent.  Damdin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Damdin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Novy steps inside.  Damdin digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Damdin switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Novy advances into close range.  Damdin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Novy gets on the inside.  Damdin lands a solid right uppercut.  
Damdin steps to the outside and lands a solid jab.

Novy closes the distance.  Damdin is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Damdin connects with a HUGE cross.  NOVY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT NOVY CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Damdin!
