Anele Mashaba vs Robert Smit

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Khayelitsha Andam, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 01/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anele Mashaba (13 - 10(3) - 1) who hails from iBhayi, South Africa and Robert Smit(11(1) - 2) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Mashaba weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Smit weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Tshipapayi, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Serero, Colin Ntuli and Xhosas Serero.
