Mark Carrick vs Cody Naismith

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Garr, Charlotte,  taking place on 02/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-North Carolina Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Carrick (16 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Cody Naismith(18 - 0) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Carrick and Naismith weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Josh Baranek, and the three ringside judges are Felix Hughes, John MacNaughton and Richard Davies.
