Dave Davies vs Gethin Cardenas

Boxing Daily Report from the Agyemang Promotions promoted show at Raleigh Marino, Raleigh,  taking place on 02/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Davies (10 - 13 - 2) who hails from Durham, USA and Gethin Cardenas(8 - 2) from Charlotte, USA.  Davies weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Cardenas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Farm, and the three ringside judges are Robert Samuel, Danny Egerton and Felix Hughes.  

Round 1: 

Cardenas is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cardenas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Davies's ribcage.
