Wayne Stealey vs Guido Chacon

Boxing Daily Report from the Box Zone promoted show at Michael Kydd Gym, New Kingston,  taking place on 28/07/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Wayne Stealey (0 - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Guido Chacon(0 - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Stealey and Chacon weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Curry, and the three ringside judges are Alen Candlish, John Nichol and Kyle Burnside.  

Round 1: 

Chacon gets on the inside.  Stealey lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stealey closes the distance.  Stealey pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Chacon's body.

Chacon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Stealey lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Stealey advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Stealey steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stealey hits home with a right uppercut.  Stealey ties up his opponent.  Stealey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Chacon gets on the inside.  Stealey lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Stealey lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Stealey clinches his opponent.  Stealey pushes his forearm into Chacon's face.  The referee warns Stealey and breaks the clinch.

Stealey connects with a right hook.  Stealey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chacon pushes his forearm into Stealey's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chacon.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chacon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Chacon's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Chacon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
