Rikard Geloes vs Dolph Gaisberg

Boxing Daily Report from the Hotstepper Promotions promoted show at Vienna Manz, Vienna,  taking place on 19/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Well Hard Rikard Geloes (4(1) - 0) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Dolph Gaisberg(6 - 5) from Vienna, Austria.  Geloes weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gaisberg weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Merrel Kerschner, and the three ringside judges are Raimond Pahlbod, Nevins Raupena and Rolph Peccoz.  

Round 1: 

Geloes steps inside and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Geloes lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Geloes clinches his opponent.  Geloes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Geloes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaisberg's kidney. 
Geloes lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Geloes hits home with a solid cross.  
Geloes closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Geloes advances into close range and connects with a stinging left hook.  Geloes holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Geloes pushes his forearm into Gaisberg's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Geloes lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Geloes attempts to land a left hook, but Gaisberg blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Geloes closes the distance.  Gaisberg throws a left hook, but Geloes clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Geloes pushes his forearm into Gaisberg's face.  The referee warns Geloes and breaks the clinch.  
Geloes forces Gaisberg to back into the ropes.  Geloes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Geloes connects with a left hook.  
Geloes feints a jab and triggers a left hook counter from Gaisberg.  Geloes is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Geloes closes the distance.  Geloes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Geloes hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Geloes walks Gaisberg into the corner.  Gaisberg tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Geloes lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Geloes is looking to close the distance and manouvers Gaisberg into the blue corner.  Geloes hits home with a right uppercut.  
Geloes lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Geloes lands with a stiff jab.  
Geloes closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Geloes switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gaisberg is looking to keep his distance.  Geloes lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Geloes gets on the inside.  Gaisberg sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Geloes digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gaisberg's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Gaisberg's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Geloes closes the distance.  Geloes pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Geloes gets on the inside.  Gaisberg throws a left hook, but Geloes clinches his opponent.  Geloes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Geloes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaisberg behind the head. 
Geloes lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Geloes is on target with a right uppercut.  
Geloes gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Geloes pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gaisberg throws a left hook, but Geloes clinches his opponent.  Geloes leans on his opponent using all his weight. Geloes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaisberg behind the head. 
Geloes lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gaisberg throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Geloes holds on to his opponent.  Geloes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Geloes pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Geloes tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Geloes lands a firm left hook.  
Geloes tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Geloes gets on the inside.  Geloes pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a sharp left uppercut into Gaisberg's liver.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Geloes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Geloes lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Geloes ties up his opponent.  Geloes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaisberg's kidney. 
Geloes lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Geloes is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Geloes connects with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gaisberg's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Gaisberg steps away from his opponent.  Geloes hits home with a cross.  
Geloes lands a jab.  
Geloes tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gaisberg sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Geloes lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Gaisberg switches the action to the outside.  Geloes feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head, AND SENDS GAISBERG SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Gaisberg hits home with a cross.  
Geloes forces Gaisberg to back into the ropes.  Geloes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Geloes lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gaisberg recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Geloes is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Geloes EXPLODES a CRUSHING left hook into his opponents face.  GAISBERG IS HURT!  Geloes ties up his opponent.  Geloes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Geloes advances into close range.  Geloes pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Gaisberg is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Geloes hits home with a weighty cross.  
Geloes steps inside.  Geloes is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Geloes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING GAISBERG TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Geloes!
