Merrill Meisenhelder vs Ricky Bissen

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Koelnmesse, Cologne,  taking place on 26/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Merrill Meisenhelder (24(8) - 0) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Ricky Bissen(14 - 8(1) - 4) from Dusseldorf, Germany.  Meisenhelder weighed in at 139 pounds And 14 ounces, while Bissen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wilfredo Schaich, and the three ringside judges are Willard Kronberger, Arnold Joel and Ivo Saltzer.  

Round 1: 

Bissen is looking to close the distance.  Meisenhelder throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Meisenhelder ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Meisenhelder pushes his forearm into Bissen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bissen throws a left uppercut, but Meisenhelder clinches his opponent.  Meisenhelder is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Meisenhelder steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Meisenhelder is on target with a solid left hook.  
Meisenhelder closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Bissen's liver.  
Meisenhelder lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Meisenhelder throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Meisenhelder holds on to his opponent.  Meisenhelder pushes his forearm into Bissen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Meisenhelder about fouling.

Meisenhelder steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Meisenhelder dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Meisenhelder lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Meisenhelder sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Bissen's ribs.  
Meisenhelder steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Bissen advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Meisenhelder clinches his opponent.  Meisenhelder is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meisenhelder lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Meisenhelder lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Meisenhelder lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Bissen connects with a right uppercut.  
Meisenhelder closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Meisenhelder lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Meisenhelder forces Bissen to retreat into the corner.  Meisenhelder lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Meisenhelder dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Meisenhelder senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Meisenhelder lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  The winner by KO is Meisenhelder!
