Ronan Hanegan vs Alun Evans

Boxing Daily Report from the Kings promoted show at Olympia, London,  taking place on 12/08/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ronan Hanegan (1 - 0) who hails from Londonderry, UK and Alun Evans(4 - 4 - 1) from Bury, UK.  Both Hanegan and Evans weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alec Malraux, and the three ringside judges are Marcus McCallen, Noel McGowan and Paul McCowen.  

Round 1: 

Hanegan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Hanegan ties up his opponent.  Hanegan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hanegan.

Hanegan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hanegan finds the target with a jab.  
Hanegan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.

Evans walks Hanegan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Evans pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hanegan connects with a left hook.  
Hanegan lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hanegan drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Hanegan closes the distance.  Evans attempts to land a right hook, but Hanegan blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Evans is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Hanegan ties up his opponent.  Hanegan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Evans behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hanegan.
