Ben Pate vs Dillon Corcoran

Boxing Daily Report from the tG promoted show at Jordan Henricks Gym, Brighton and Hove,  taking place on 24/07/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ben Pate (1 - 0) who hails from Blackburn, UK and Dillon Corcoran(1 - 3 - 1) from London, UK.  Pate weighed in at 125 pounds And 15 ounces, while Corcoran weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Killough, and the three ringside judges are Bob Slatter, Mark Rhind and Gavin McAffee.  

Round 1: 

Pate gets on the inside.  Pate pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Pate sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Pate pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Corcoran dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pate steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Pate closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Corcoran's body.

Pate is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Corcoran in the corner.  Pate drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Pate leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Corcoran accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pate.  
Pate steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Pate is looking to close the distance.  Pate is on target with a right hook.  Pate attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Corcoran's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
