Thulani Shabangu vs Manu Phiri

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 18/09/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thulani Shabangu (12(1) - 0) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Manu Phiri(3 - 2 - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Shabangu weighed in at 130 pounds, while Phiri weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Oosthuizen, and the three ringside judges are Quoitrel Sotyu, Xhosas Kwadwo and John Nzambi.
