Dan Claudel vs Xavion Olavarria

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center Exhibition Hall, Syracuse,  taking place on 02/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dan Claudel (18(9) - 0) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Xavion Olavarria(13 - 8(4) - 4) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Both Claudel and Olavarria weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seth Owens, and the three ringside judges are Massimo Alemanno, Chris Cavanaugh and Dan Ronald.  

Round 1: 

Olavarria steps inside.  Claudel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Claudel attempts to land a right hook, but Olavarria blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Claudel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Claudel hits home with a sharp left hook.  Claudel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Claudel pushes his forearm into Olavarria's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Claudel tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Claudel tries to keep the action at long range.  Claudel feints a jab, fooling Olavarria into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Claudel is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Claudel lands with a stiff jab.  
Claudel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Claudel switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab to Olavarria's body.  
Claudel lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Olavarria almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Claudel hits home with a cross.  
Claudel tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Claudel lands a firm cross.  
Olavarria steps inside.  Claudel lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES OLAVARRIA!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Claudel!
