Kenji Oh vs Keiichi Kaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Komazawa Gymnasium, Nishinomiya,  taking place on 01/09/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kenji Oh (9 - 0) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Keiichi Kaya(10 - 10(1) - 6) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Oh and Kaya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Abe, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Koyanagi, Yutaka Enomoto and Hiro Katayama.  

Round 1: 

Oh gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Oh sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Oh is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Kaya's body.  Oh holds on to his opponent.  Oh is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kaya steps to the outside.  Oh is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  Oh tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Oh closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Kaya in the corner.  Oh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kaya throws a left hook, but Oh holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Oh pushes his forearm into Kaya's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Oh hits home with a right hook.  Oh holds on to his opponent.  Oh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Oh pushes his forearm into Kaya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Oh about fouling.

Oh tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kaya behind the head. As they grapple, Oh pushes his forearm into Kaya's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Oh.

Oh is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Oh lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Oh ties up his opponent.  Oh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Oh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Oh closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Oh is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.
