Siphelele Mokonyane vs Jamar Phiri

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 16/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Siphelele Mokonyane (15(4) - 4) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Jamar Phiri(21(1) - 9(2) - 1) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Mokonyane and Phiri weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Strydom, and the three ringside judges are Quaddus Rascalimu, Quaddus Rascalimu and Roos Van der Linde.  

Round 1:
