Ben Katonon vs Paul Kimeli

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Kahangi, Kisumu,  taking place on 23/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kisumu Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Katonon (14 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Paul Kimeli(7(2) - 1) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Katonon and Kimeli weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Lalang, and the three ringside judges are David Macgoye, Kendis Rimbui and Mark Lavatsa.
