Angel Ronquillo vs Ulises Monsalve

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Duran, Bogota,  taking place on 26/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Ronquillo (9 - 11(1) - 3) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Ulises Monsalve(4 - 5 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Ronquillo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Monsalve weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Falla, and the three ringside judges are Rio Lopez, Leonardo Castano and Joaquin Magana.  

Round 1: 

Monsalve gets on the inside.  Ronquillo hits home with a left hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ronquillo dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ronquillo.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
