Gennady Baliev vs Goga Akhverdiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Dushanbe promoted show at Dushanbe Yassin, Dushanbe,  taking place on 01/08/2028:

Clearly AI Tajikistan-Dushanbe have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan-Dushanbe Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gennady Baliev (14 - 7(2)) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Goga Akhverdiyev(10 - 5) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Baliev weighed in at 225 pounds and 9 ounces, while Akhverdiyev weighed in at 225 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ilham Azizov, and the three ringside judges are Toghrul Azimzade, Aghasafa Abushev and Dmitriy Backir.
